Terra Atelier is a complete service Architecture & Interior design studio based out in Chennai, creating spaces that are unique & cozy. We are a close knit of Architects, Interior designers, and craftsmen working towards creating minimalistic spaces with character. Our designs are neat, earthy & home to design styles that we adore. Our projects are as unique to us as every client, we enjoy designing and curating spaces that resonates with them. Our designs emerge from the blends of Scandinavian & Mediterranean meets us somewhere new every single time. The fusing dialogues between these styles are super exciting for us and always steers us forward. With our ever-evolving design style we achieve outputs that are true to the principles we believe in. We take up the space from paper to a functional space by considering every details. Our goal is curating every space to make it feel more personal by combining the space owner's lifestyle and personality.

Established in 2018, we specialize in Residential, Commercial and Landscape Design in India. Our portfolio includes studio apartments, luxury apartments, traditional style villas, individual villas, cafes, boutiques, gyms, commercial offices, music studios, residence landscape, private roof gardens, and wellness centres. We are presently working on projects in Chennai, Kerala and Bangalore and we look forward to creating more comfortable spaces in India.
Deepikha Varadharajan
PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
Deepikha is the face of Terra Atelier, she started her practice right after her undergraduate degree as an Architect in 2015. With her ever-growing passion to always keep spaces cozy and cute she set out doing projects that satisfied her soul. Her further interest in Interior Design led her to pursue her master’s degree in Interior & Living Design from Domus Academy, Milan. She established Terra Atelier in 2018, and since then she has been creating tasteful spaces by assisting her clients.
As the principal designer, she takes care of all that structures her design & studio. She has a unique language for design that emerge from the blends of Scandinavian & Mediterranean. With a strong eye for symmetry and perfection all her designs are thoughtful & minimalistic. Whatever the design demands she always makes her way in bringing the best out of everything. She strongly believes a well - designed space is more than meets the eye, with functionality being her design spine she aims in designing spaces that serve to their fullest. Bright voluminous rooms, High ceilings, minimalism, A lot of white, pop of colours, textures, layered walls, bespoke furniture’s and lots of character to spaces is what differentiates her work from others. Every space she creates feels personally curated for the space owner. She believes giving them a sense of oneness is wholesome.
