Absolute vibrance and super cozy corners are the heart of this project. This café is tucked away in Anna Nagar with a small outdoor seating. The spatial planning is simple and neat with clear circulation. We wanted to create a space that was friendly and fun. A super glossy counter top serves as the main service area creating a focal to the diner. The base of the café is of all neutral shades with furniture’s in vibrant blue and magenta to create some drama. A cozy corner has a snooker table, with corner seating’s that makes the ambience warm. We also designed a photobooth for it to be more fun. We re-used old tables and chairs and painted them to suit the theme of the space. The outdoor seating seats 20 – 30 people. We incorporated some plants to add more life to the space. Designing a café is fun, being a minimalist, this project was quite a challenge as my clients demands had to be met. In the end it always ends with how happy our client feels when we understand and design for them.
